WHAT’S NEW in the SUMMER KITCHEN

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

We will soon  be serving Blue Bottle Coffee with Blue Chair Jam. We will also have fritatas and Breakfast Sandwiches and will open earlier starting Next Month. Watch the website for more details.

Our new monthly menu-JANUARY in the SUMMER KITCHEN is out. We will put all the dinners for the month on that menu and keep them the same for the entire month.(Many of you asked us for a set schedule  to help you to plan your weekly dinners)  We will still update the website daily but it will be limited to the Nightly Dinner, Specials and Soup.

You can get on our mailing list by leaving your email in the comment box. Each Month we will chose one lucky person to recieve a dozen cupcakes for your home or office. Good Luck!

By the way…We read all the comments. Thank you for all you nice comments and all the well wishes. We really thank you for all your suggestions and have implemented many of them. We hope to be a great community resource in the Elmwood and are so happy to have found such a great Neighborhood. Some have suggested we carry bread at our store. Let me know if you would like us to carry Acme Baguettes and other Acme Breads,

Thanks

Charlene

Thank You! We raised nearly 1000.00 for Haiti Relief

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Thank you for all your donations! Between our fundraiser on the 15th and the Wine Tasting at Vintage Berkeley we raised nearly $1000.00 for Haiti Relief. Half of the proceeds are going to the WHAT IF FOUNDATION in Berkeley who feed and educate children in Haiti.  The other half is going to DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS who are setting up makeshift hospitals in Haiti to treat the wounded. See their websites for more info on these great organizations.

Thank you!
